Dear Members,
We have finally reached stage three of our road map to reopening Heritage and are happy to confirm that we will be open to members only, from the 4th July 2020.
A revised risk assessment has been produced and is below this letter. It is subject to change and long. But we implore you to read it carefully.
If you have read the rev.1 risk assessment already, amendments have been made to sections 10, 12, 22 and 25 and are now showing in the rev. 2 risk assessment.
There are less limitations on facilities, but of course we will have to follow the guidance outlined below and in the rev.2 risk assessment. A copy of the current risk assessment will be available on our website and posted around the club.
We hope you can appreciate the necessity of this course of action and that we can all work together to ensure that we can all enjoy Heritage together (albeit socially distanced) as much as possible.
Stage Three Guidelines: 4th July 2020 onwards:
- There is no guarantee that coming to Heritage is safe from Corona virus and we must stress that your visit to the club is at your own risk entirely. We recommend that those of you that are at higher risk (over 70 or have ANY underlying health conditions) think long and hard before visiting.
- We ask that members that feel unwell, have lost their sense of taste/smell, or have a cough or temperature please stay at home as well as all other household/family members.
- The MC reserve the right to ask any members displaying any illness or symptoms to go home, including their household/family members
- Please remember, your best protection against the virus is your own behaviour. We request that all members study the attached risk assessment before coming.
- Upon entry to the club ALL MEMBERS are required to register their attendance for EVERY DAY that they are at Heritage. There will be a register in the small conservatory for you to log all members’ attendance (including your children) and to confirm that you have read the current risk assessment.
- All our toilet and kitchen facilities will be open again, subject to the limitations in the current risk assessment.
- The swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, adults TV room, kids hut and playground are still closed. We are eager to open the swimming pool as soon as the Government clarify and ease restrictions.
- When using any of the club’s facilities you must disinfect them BEFORE and AFTER use. Disinfectant spray will be supplied for this purpose.
- If possible, please bring your own disinfectant. Our supplies are limited and should we run out, closing Heritage again may have to be considered until we can replenish stocks. If you have over-bought any disinfectants during the pandemic and can spare a bottle, please donate them to the club to avoid the above happening. A box will be provided next to the attendance register in the small conservatory.
- If you are staying overnight and have your own bathroom facilities, we would encourage you to use them.
- Please be mindful of your children and do not allow them to mix with other members. All parents should accompany their children when using the facilities to ensure they disinfect surfaces before and after use.
Thank you for your understanding.
Heritage MC.
