Youth Hut

The Youth Hut is the focal point of Heritage for our HeriKids and HeriTeens. Purpose built and newly refurbished in 2011. The youth hut is nicely out of the way, allowing kids and teenagers a chance to 'escape' from the adults into a fun and sociable place.

The Youth Hut is kitted out with a huge flat screen TV, linked up to the clubs cable TV system, meaning that the younger kids can sit and watch cartoons, or the older kids can tune into their favourite show.

Of course, it wouldn't be much of a chilling out place if there wasn't something to relax on. The youth hut is kitted out with four huge bean bags. The bean bags, which we have proven will fit 5-6 HeriKids on (or 2-3 HeriTeens), are a fantastic means to relax in the hut and have a chat, or watch the TV.

Also in the hut is a computer, linked up to the clubs network and the Internet. Built into it are the latest parental controls to ensure that the HeriKids and HeriTeens can browse away on the Internet until their heart's content. Whether it's catching up with friends on facebook or playing some of the online games the up-to-date technology will allow them the chance to go online.

For the more competetive kids, there is also a table football table in the hut. Whether you're going to organise a full 'World Cup' competition or just have a quick kick about for fun, it's a great way to pass the time and beat your friends at a game or two.

Outside the hut there is a picnic bench, solely for the use of HeriKids and HeriTeens. This is a quiet outdoor place for everyone to get together for a chat and a relax. Of course, of that's not your thing then you could always have a go on the brand new trampoline!

The Youth Hut really has been kitted out to provide both HeriKids and HeriTeens with everything they could need to enjoy their time at Heritage, as well as a safe place to escape from the adults.
