Sports Facilities

Two members playing miniten

Not everyone is sporty, but if you are Heritage has excellent facilities and plenty of members willing to join in for a game, especially on a Sunday. The most popular sports include tennis, miniten, boules and volleyball, each with well-maintained courts. In fact, we believe we have the best tennis and miniten courts of any naturist club. Volleyball, a naturist classic(!), is played on grass, tennis and miniten on high quality asphalt, while the boules courts are graded gravel and sand.

Checking out who is winning at boules

We were the first club to install a shuffleboard court, still in excellent condition, and also have several indoor sports such as table tennis. Naturally, sports can get competitive and we have annual competitions for an impressive array of cups and shields, both for adults and juniors. From time to time we compete in inter-club events in most of these sports, but mostly we just play socially amongst ourselves. Our volleyball players are the most travelled, if not always the most successful.

We have a lovely swimming pool. It's the wrong shape for serious competitions, but just right for riotous games of water volleyball, not to mention the notorious greasy pole fights.

So, there's plenty of variety, whether you want to keep fit, hone your skills or pull up a deckchair to watch those who fancy their prowess.
